Francis Xavier Bushman, a silent screen luminary, was born on January 10th, 1883, in Norfolk, Virginia. His educational journey led him to Ammendale College in Maryland. A man of diverse talents, Bushman explored various avenues early in life, including wrestling, boxing, bicycle racing, and even the arts, as an artist's model and a sculpture student.
